Welcome to Super Value Cars
What Makes a Car a "Super Value Car"?
- It has to be Good. Only used cars that are good enough to be recommended by the highly-respected Consumer Reports qualify to be “Super Value Cars”.
- It has to be Cheap. So what makes a good car cheap enough to be a Super Value Car? Depreciation!
While the buyer of a new car wants to avoid a car that will depreciate quickly, the buyer of a used car benefits from excess depreciation. That’s how you get Super Value.
Some car models are just less loved than others. People don’t know about them, don't like them, or don't appreciate them, for whatever reason. Even if the statistics show that they’re good, reliable, even exciting cars, they depreciate more than they should. That makes them Super Value Cars.
- So, what we do is combine a Consumer Reports used car recommendation with a car that is in the Top 20 for depreciation (as a percentage of original Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price (MSRP)) and that gives you your Super Value Cars for each Model Year.
- Don’t let the name “Super Value Cars” fool you – we’ve got Super Value Trucks, SUVs, Minivans, and, yes, even Super Value Hybrids.
